A father/son rite of passage,
exploring the calling of godly manhood.
Click for video. (Quicktime needed)
Discover a unique father/son experience of
studying and discussing the characteristics of godly manhood. Each
session consists of teaching, small group discussion and an experience
that cements the lesson. The program culminates with a ceremony
at which each father "initiates" his
son by giving him a public blessing and welcoming
him to the journey of a man of God. This has proven to be a powerful
experience for both fathers and sons who want to mark a significant
point in their relationship. For sons 13-17 years old.
-Ages: For sons 13-17 years old at the time of the program; sons without fathers
can be paired with mentoring men.
